Useful Tips

When plaintain stem is soaked in the Buttermilk and then used the color of the stem does not changes for long time. Try this out once and see my buddies
Want to try different taste of coconut chutney, then add some mint leaves, small piece of ginger, two drops of lemon juice in addition to the chutney dhall, cilantro, curry leaves, coconut and salt. Grind this mixture and add the seasonings and serve. Try this and see my buddies

Useful bits

Use big Sago for kheer and small sago for Upma (the one commonly called as nylon sago in tamilnadu)
While Preparing Coffee decoction add 1/2 tspn sugar immediately after adding the coffee powder. For nice thick Filter coffee try this once.
Use thick Flaked rice (Aval, Poha) for Upma and Kesari. And the thin flaked rice is useful for making kheer and Idlis
If you are making chutney with Mint leaves or Cilantro (Coriander), and if the salt is bit rised than to the taste. Add some Jaggery and grind it in the mixer twice. Nice , sweet chutney is ready with no excess salt
